Funny thing, I went to Santa Monica, took some pictures and at the time, I didn't think I came away with anything. After lookin at my pictures on the computer, there was actually a few that turned out okay and I posted them up. This pic in particular really took me a few moments to appreciate. I realized that I loved the whole silhouette effect as well as the sunset colors produced on the waters and wet sand. Turns out the Flickr community seems to love it as much as I do... in just a few days it quickly zoomed past my other pics to become one of my most "interesting" pics, even making it to the #1 position on Flickr. So... I guess it is true, just shoot, shoot, and shoot some more, who knows that you'll get sometimes.
